Lenny Rachitsky makes the case that serendipity can change our lives in the most amazing of ways and attempts to illuminate what life would be like without it.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
For some reason i feel motivated to so something- anything actually after listening to your speech!!

Interesting, Lenny is in fact living within his own bubble. Identifying with and sharing an immaterialst's quote:
Sufi - "Knowledge that takes you not beyond yourself is far worse than ignorance."
Due to the murky plasticity of the Sufi quote, Lenny is able to draw into his bubble like minded people without actually providing support for his argument that losing serendipity is bad.
George Bernard Shaw - "Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.”
