  • Joe Lewis had a falling out with Bruce Lee because when Bruce asked him to be in Return Of The Dragon and play the evil american, who would be defeated by the little Dragon, Joe said, "I would never lose to him."

  • @martinez418 wtf ....its obvious chuck lose to bruce ...chuck norris is not such an expert ...he isn't faster and stronger than bruce ...if he knows how to do a roundhouse kick doesn't make him better than bruce lee ..van damme fights better than chuck norris ...but not better than bruce ...

  • Joe Lewis was a great fighter. One person that most definitely beat Bruce. He turn down Bruce's offer in a movie role in return of the dragon due to HIM not accepting such defeat from a mediocre opponent ''BRUCE''.

That's the whole debate now with Chuck and Bruce, due to the filming where Chuck losses to Bruce. Bruce knew by doing such chirography on his on screen movies , the gullible Americans would accept such lost. Chuck paid the price, but gain movie stardom in Hollywood.Chuck would win

  • it's funny how these guys sing a different tune since Bruce died. I remember reading Joe Lewis saying he could not avoid Bruce's low sidekick to the knee. And that

    Bruce taught him fighting strategy.

  • Thx

  • @legkicker01

No, Bruce Lee introduced kickboxing concepts to America in the early 1970s.

Joe Lewis does refer to Bruce as his teacher, read article Joe wrote for KARATE INTERNATIONAL were he states this, don't be an igorant Joe fanboy who doesn't know anything about him but just want to lick his ass.

There is also an article from the Washington Star which states that Bruce handles and instructs Chuck Norris, Mike Stone and Joe Lewis as a mother would to a child

This article was published when they were all here.

  • @blugularis

He did. I actually have pictures of him training with Bruce Lee.

It's in Lee's book: Art of Expressing the Human Body.

Lewis didn't need to find out how good Lee really was. Lewis did not even need Lee anyway. It was Lee, who needed Lewis to be able to claim he was the teacher of the top karate fighters in the US. Lee was just scared of losing his face. That's why he never fought in tournaments, not even once. By the way, why don't you find out how good Joe Lewis really is yourself? Are you scared of finding an answer because it would most likely destroy your stupid ego?
