Won't you dance with me Linda
They're playing that song again
I know we can't go back but I sure can remember when
You were sweet sixteen and your hair was brown
We parked by a bridge about a mile from town
Drinkin' that cherry sloe gin
We went to a bar but they wouldn't let us in
So we went down to the Hill
And heard the Ravens play a few hot licks
Then we cruised around town in my SS 396
I got into a race and your face turned white
We had a flat tire and stayed out all night
I said I didn't have a spare
Honey you said you didn't care
That's alright
Well I read it in the paper
Where you split from your old man
Now here we are at the Alibi dancing to the same old band
Let's take a ride in my bug and toke a bowl or two
Everything looks different but nothing's really new
So Benny won't you sing that song
'Cause tonight we can't stay long
Won't you dance with me Linda while they play that song
Dance with me Linda 'cause it's been so long
Dance with me Linda they're playing
Dance with me Linda while they play that song
Dance with me Linda 'cause it's been so long
Dance with me Linda they're playing that song again

Thanks, Largedog. I've had that song lying around since the mid-70's. The video seemed made-to-order. I'll bet it'll be dancing room only at the Jefferson Memorial Saturday from the look of the numbers on that "Dance Party at TJ's" Facebook page.
