Thexder 95 review

Sorry about the hypercam quality. The game is smooth and not nearly as choppy as the video. It was just the cam. This is my first shot at doing reviews so don't leave bad comments if u don't like it.if you do plz comment!

i've had the game ever since i was 4. (im 16). Game wont run on my newer pc. works on older pc tho. i didn't keep disks in good condition 'til 12. thexder is sadly nearly scrap. i tryed using nero on it, but it just can't get it all. :( . Good game. oh, and didn't u ask about the thexder addon program thingy a year ago? im curious about it still. (in help it mentions that u can buy more thexder stuff, including a level editor).

@starcontrolfreak i still have this game on cd after 8 years and it still runs on my older pc! i tried calling the number in the help file but it just directed me to Vivendi games and something about WoW hints. Now all it does is redirect you to activision or something. i read on some forum about someone who called sierra in jan 96 but they were already out ofstock. my belief is that it was never made, or was just realy underrated.

Ok, i've confirmed that Thexder will "RUN" on ANY Windows computer, 95 and up. It will, however, only "INSTALL" on Windows 95-XP, because the splash screen is incompatible with Vista/7. To get it to "RUN" on vista or 7, simply open up the cd drive and startup the .exe file named "THEXDER". That should be all you need to starup the game in Vista/7, but if you have any small glitches (movies not playing right, etc) you will have to change the compatibility settings of that file to fix it. gl hf!

Still love this game, btw last i checked you can "run" it on 64 bit vista, but it won't install. Don't know about 7, will have to get the disk out again sometime soon.
