About the Pianist:

Studied in Paris with Jules Gentil for international piano competitions, privately with Brian Ganz, Professor of Piano Performance at the Peabody Institute, and composer Elizabeth Gould. Founder of performance group of well known governmental and business leaders in Washington, D.C. Served on Board of Directors of Young Concert Artists at the Kennedy Center. Soloist with symphony orchestras and performed in various recitals. Steinberg is or has been a management consultant, trial attorney, Reagan Administration appointee, classical pianist and author of five books.

Influences include Rudolph Serkin, Glenn Gould, Andre Watts, and Emmanuel Ax. Hvorostovsky Bartoli Larmore Gigli Scholl Battle

Great playing. Very musical and sensitive. My only comment is that it seemed to get soft rather quickly at the very end. Maybe this was the pianist's intention(?)

Unfortunately they didn't take the effort to tune the piano beforehand.... The problem here is not the playing, it's the detuned piano :(

Stupenda interpretazione. Molto sentita. Il difficile di questa trascrizione è riuscire a far emergere la linea melodica sull'accompagnamento, e lei ci riesce perfettamente. Complimenti davvero!!! Geniale l'aggiunta dei bassi nella parte finale per evincere che è un'orchestra completa e non più solo accompagnamento del canto...

Cette musique est très profonde et provoque une réel méditation de son for intérieur. Le pianiste retransmet avec exactitude les sentiments de ce morceau.
