@4konishiva Yes you can fill them out by hand. Use black ink to fill in the information, and sign them in blue ink.

Great videos! This will help immensely. I have a question:
I'm a US citizen living in Poland for the past 6 years employed with a Polish company. I have recently married a Bosnian citizen. She has never been to the US and does not have even a tourist visa. We would like to relocate back to the US in the next 1 or 2 months, due to health issues of my father. Is there any way that she can come with me to the US, or will she have to wait the entire 9 months to get immigration visa? Thanks!

@scottreynolds74 The basic rule is that US Citizens living abroad can process I-130 forms directly through the Embassy with jurisdiction. So you will have to look at the Embassy website and review the procedures with that - every embassy is a bit different. Most of them will accept I-130 and med exams, police certs, proofs of good faith marriage, etc. You may need a joint sponsor for your affidavit of support if your income was earned outside of the US!! Thanks for watching - MD

Thanks! I thought so and wrote the embassy in warsaw, but they wrote back to me:
As of August 15, 2011, petitioners residing outside the US are no longer able to file Forms I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, with U.S. embassies and consulates. Petitioners residing overseas in countries where USCIS does not have a public counter presence will be required to file their Forms I-130 by mail with the USCIS Chicago Lockbox
So I assume we're out of luck and she has to wait for an interview in Bosnia.

@scottreynolds74 Well, That sucks! Yeah you would file the I-130, get the receipt then file the I-129F for a K-3 visa which can be processed quicker (sometimes...) and you come over and she waits over there for the processing to finish - maybe 9 months. Sometimes the I-130 gets processed before the I-129F but do them both. You can call me for a free tel consult or skype if you need more help and we can quickly research what needs to get done - cinaimmigrationlawyers for info
