This filter fits Hyundai Elantra 07-10. The model shown in this video is a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, but installation is similar on the other models.

  • My husband has a 2006 Hyundai Elantra, I noticed in the notes it said, that it fits 07-present, is there a specific type for the 2006 model?

  • @drbobiwsky Hey, sorry for the late reply! The 2006 Elantra takes the AQ1053 filter. You can search "AQ1053" and you should come across the video for the Tiburon that takes the same filter. THe procedure should be very similar. I hope this helps!

  • Does the 2001 Elantra GLS model have a cabin filter? Thanks

  • @TheCoolfez The 2001 Elantra does have a filter. The part number that we sell is AQ1053. The video we have is for the Hyundai Tiburon but the procedure is mostly the same.

  • How often have you guys found this is necessary, on average?

  • @CaspianKid Normally we suggest that you change your filter every 1 year or 15,000 miles. If you live back in the woods or in a town that produces a lot of smog you may want to change it earlier so that it doesn't get clogged up with anything.

  • ONE MILLIONS THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO, THIS WILL HELP A LOT OF PEOPLE, EVEN OLD GUYS, CAUSE IN THE DEALER THEY WANT TO CHARGE JUST FOR CHANGE IT $79.00. THATS A SHAME. WHEN THEY TOLD ME, I WAS SHOCK. I DIT IT BY MYSELF, AND I FOUND THE FILTER $ 13 ON E-BAY,INCLUDE S/H AND TAX. DEALERS: $ 22+ TAX DO A VIDEO IN SPANISH, YOU WILL HELP THOSE GUYS TOO.

  • @filterheads That's weird, when i open the glove box, I don't see a filter, I do see a space but it doesn't look big enough to fit a filter...

  • @TheCoolfez Yes, it does. It is located roughly in the same place.

  • I am not sure what is the reason for the foggy and hazy at the windows glass? If it is the reason of Cabin air filter, I will go through. Please let me know maftun2002@yahoo.com

  • What year and model is this showing? Before I order, the filter I have in my 2010 Elantra Touring does not look like this. The ribs go the other way (front to back) not left to right. I bought one at a brick and mortar dealer, supposedly the proper replacement, and it does not fit.
