lol i'm playing the remastered in HD version of this got to the final room picked up the gold treasure turned around no escalator thing... kinda annoyed i killed myself went back to the room and it's still not there so i ran around in a circle for ages and BAM it suddenly appeared along with the guard that was supposed to be there...
