thanks for this!

@budgetfeatures I only emailed them today, as I have been very busy on business travel of late. Will advise on the outcome. (I also removed my original post here, as I used harsh language which was probably inappropriate. I was clearly a bit upset after pulling my new machine apart to find that that the SSD was not physcially compatible).

@MetalSlab, has the issue been resolved to your satisfaction by OWC? I have the drive sitting here, and my new MBP is arriving soon, so it'd be good to know...

The threads on the base of the drive are standard but the ones on the sides are significantly smaller. Have been battling with this for an hour now. Wrapped the SSD in foam for now. I'll call tomorrow when I am in a better mood.

@MetalSlab Take a deep breath and contact our technical support department either in live chat from our website or via 1-815-338-8685. The threads on hard drive screws are all standardized, so they should fit. We can help, just give us a chat/call.

@cwbh10 Are you really going to use 500GB?

From 750GB (or 500) to 40... I think I would take the space over speed in this one. Anyways, nice video!
