Updated tutorial of U2's "Where the Streets Have No Name." The "B" series of tutorial are old and not complete. See the "A" series for the "new and improved" tutorials. This part covers my guitar tone and effects settings. Recorded entirely with Fractal Audio's Axe-Fx II. See www.u2guitartutorials.com for more information.

  • @U2GuitarTutorials Korg preamp right before amp If I drive a real amp.

Preamp should be last in effect chain or at the beginning?

  • @Rafal102able

It should be in front of the amp. The Kor preamp drives / interacts with the preamp of the AC30 in a unique way.

  • You just earned a new subscriber sir!!

  • @U2GuitarTutorials thanks for doing the wierd intonation bit at the start. now i can sort out some problem with my guitar :)

  • Great job explaining the process of configuring the basic tone. Makes it so much easier to dial in the settings when I can hear a clean reference in glorious HD clarity. Wish I had an AxeFX.

  • Wow you pretty much nailed the Slane tone!

  • I bet they would make A LOT of money if they did invent that.

  • Someone need to make a pick where the dimples are at the pointy end of the pick.
