Adventists believe someone is saved by the grace of God through the faith of Jesus given to us as a gift. As Ephesians 2:8-10 points out, we are saved unto good works. We are not saved by our good works but these are the fruits of our salvation. It is only when a person is saved that they can obey or do the will of God.

On this EGWhite question, Seventh-Day Adventists believe she had the prophetic gift. Her writings are however, even from her own counsel, not at the same level with the Bible. She referred to her writings as "the lesser light".

@BelieveandtrustJesus You should care because they would help explain God' writings. Instead of assuming you know who she is and what she is about reading would be fundamental in this case. That is my recommendation, if you believe them or not is not my concern. But making incorrect assumptions is. God bless
