The William C Daldy is one of the few surviving and still operating steamships with triple expansion engines and coal fired scotch boilers. Formally a harbour tug, she has been adapted to carry passengers for charters and cruises on the Waitamata Harbour in Auckland New Zealand. This video was made for the society that operates her for the purpose of recruiting volunteers for crewing on her. It gives a good insite into what it was like to crew on steamships of her era (1936)
