What are you talking about man, ultra 1 is not fast anof to get a boom.(slowest recovery boom is easiest but your just guessing) You gotta predict it or have the best reactions ever. I've gotten ppl with u1 also but they where scrubs that were predictable with there sonic booms and I buffer and react to any movement on the screen, that's not the good way cuz you can get baited hard. U2 is the best ultra in ssf4 but with the nerfs in ssf4ae u1 is beter now cuz you can combo it.

@lumiere707 U2 is easily broken by EX Sonic Boom and Flash Kicks. You don't use U2 in this match up. It's very possible to predict and react to Sonic Booms with U1, I've done it multiple times.

the smart thing to do is what he did: realize that guile's boom recovery is too good and wait him out.

he just got impatient. and probably should've gone for ultra 2 in the first place.

@FPietros Not sure if you heard but Able now has more recovery on his rolls, so now he doesnt have any sure ways of getting in on a patient Guile, the roll was what got him in close in SSFIV.
