Yes the HST is a good idea, but remember Businesses are suppose to pass those savings on to consumers in the form of lower prices, not just create jobs with the HST savings companies receive. Otherwise, the HST would be nothing more then a Tax shift because consumers are still paying those inflated prices since the Tax is still hidden in the price of new home construction. So keep in mind about using the HST savings to lower prices and not just create jobs

The HST means, easy money, from my pocket to your pocket. Get off your ass and go out a do some work hard. Hard work is the keys to financial success not stealing citizens money via a corrupt government. This is a Mugabe style trick!
