At the suggestion of a few friends, I wanted to update my transformation video and make it look a little more professional. So, these are my P90X results from January 6th, 2010 to April 5th, 2010 as well as my final pic after 63 days of Insanity. Who knew that in 8 months, I could get in such crazy shape using nothing but these great programs from Beachbody. No extra running or weight work. Just pushing play almost everyday.

For those that are considering the program or maybe started and couldn't quite get through the first few weeks, my hope is you will make the commiitment and focus for 90 days. If you trust the program and bring the intensity, you can do it.

I'm just a normal guy with an average amount of athleticism. No special genetics, just hard work and discipline. That is all you need.

I'd be honored to help you reach your fitness goals.

  • @onintwo34 So I just started P90X but during the first workout I only completed like half of each exercise. I am very out of shape so is this normal and do i just keep working on it? Thanks for a response and great results man.

  • @tacoman775 Don't beat yourself up about not getting through the Chest and Back the first time through. That workout is a mother even after 90 days. My advice is to modify the pull-ups by using a chair and hit the pause button often. Also, do as Tony says and write everything down. Be religious about it. Keep after it man and you will be amazed.

  • Did you follow the meal plan? I feel like that is the hardest part for me. Plus, i have seen a lot of people do insanity after p90x. is there any reason for this ? which would you recommend for a beginner between the two program ?

  • @laparry202 Didn't necessarily follow the nutrition guide but I was very focused on what I ate. Never counted calories but kept a close watch on carbs. From Day 45 on, I was consuming about 75g carbs/day. Had plenty of energy to push hard in each and every workout.

  • @laparry202 I did Insanity immediately after Round 1 of The X. Went from 8.9% body fat down to 7.1%. So...yes I would recommend going for Insanity after a full 90 days of X'ing it.

  • 2:47 Those aren't wide pull ups, those are normal pull ups.

  • @WNxMercy I guess wide is a pretty relative term. My hands are wider than my shoulders so thats wide in my book.

  • @djpunk555 Sure. Use a chair immediately after fatigue sets in. Even though it might seem like you are using all legs to get over the bar, your back, lats, and rear delts are still firing and getting stronger. Supps I used were Fish Oil every morning, Shakeology, Jack3d on strength training days only and the P90X Recovery drink. Worked well for me.

  • @WNxMercy Maybe your right but I don't feel like I fooled myself into anything. I'm pretty happy with the progress I made in 90 days. Lighting is exactly the same in Day 60 and 90 pics.

  • Did u use any supplements? Any advice on how to do pullups (I can't do one)?

  • Nice change on the lighting too, perhaps keep the same lighting so not to fool yourself
