  • @sexymanfrombigjapan congrats on the bass, and keep playin n what not but that last sarcastic comment isn't worthy to be said, guitars can go many octaves higher than what billy did at that time

  • n toca na panquan veio =translation=do not touch nothing will learn to play right came

  • @Takke157 You know what "under-rated" means right? You mean over rated. Bass Guitar is certainly under rated/appreciated if not only because it can't hit as high of notes.

  • @SuperGeo1987 I will say this, though. I do think there are parts of this solo that are genuinely musically interesting. When he slows down a bit I think his note choice is pretty awesome in some sections. It's hard to tell what he's playing at times because it goes by so fast.

  • @Bushie1988 And I was merely stating my opinion, using yours as a starting point.

  • @SuperGeo1987 im only impressed by technicality if it has some sort of soul/feel to it which i find very rare in a player but yeah he is awesome at playing bass but this does literally nothing for me , i wasnt arguing with any one just stating my opinion.

  • FINGERPICKING?!!!!!

  • @Bushie1988 Entwhistle did this sort of thing too. He was never as good as sheehan, but he did do it. Bass solos are not just found in hair metal. For arguments sake lets just say that you don't personally enjoy this but, be honest, you are impressed by his technical prowess. You'd be a fool to deny that.

  • @thisiskris017 Hahaha no. Electric bass is based off of the double bass, which comes from a completely different family of instrument than guitar, and originated during the Renaissance. And while some bass players do use picks now, basses are meant to be played with a bow or fingers. Basically, a guitarist CAN pick up a bass and play it like a guitar, thinking it is merely simplified, but historically speaking, you're doing it completely wrong.

  • @thekoolchris12 No bass really is just a simplified version of a guitar.
