OMG The freakin altos sound beautiful

I adore this song. Alto's sound so beautiful on their entrance in the very beginning of the song. Soprano's have such a pure piercing tone. Lovely.
Overall beautiful sound. Very Expressive.

@haugwi01 Bill, we all know the Nordic Choir, the Concordia Choir, and the St. Olaf choir are incredible, and that's exactly why you drove all the way from decorah to hear the Concordia Choir in Madison. No need to be smug.

I love this piece dearly. My high school concert choir is singing it as a contest piece this year. The only problem I have with this interpretation is that the girls, both the altos and sopranos, from 2:40 to about 3:23, they just sound way too rushed and hurried. It doesn't fit in with the slow, deep, romantic tone of the song. But other than that, this choir sounds WONDERFUL. I'm a little jealous:)

What beautiful sound from the altos!!!!!

I know one of the sopranos... went to high school with her, and we all sang this when we were sophomores. it was one of my favorite pieces to sing. very beautiful.

stunningly beautiful.

This is excellent (I feel like I can hear the overtones even through computer speakers), and I'd expect nothing less from Dr. Clausen. I have to confess that after about 4 listenings, though, the incorrect pronunciation of "gesto" as "yehsto" does detract from it for me.

@haugwi01 nordic choir is amazing. I was a senior at decorah last year. We sang this song at Dorian!

If you gave this as a birthday gift to someone who knew Spanish, they would love you forever.
