Glenn Gould and his chair

"I've never given any concert, anything else?". About this amazing chair: "- Do you mean it's been as close companion to you as Bach has been in your musical career? - O much closer actually".

I admire his precision of thought without shadow of hypocrisy. Accuracy, simplicity of his way of thinking has reflection in his way of interpretation. Sound under his fingers is absolutly clear. He show us structure and beauty of composition in most understandable way. World without colors, move, beginning and end. When I listen his records I feel absolutely quiet, alone. The world disappears, my body disappears. Only my soul and cosmic harmony, pure perfection. I am talking with God.
