Glad he noticed Brent Smith too. That is one good vocalist(Just make the contrast between Shinedown - Beyond the sun, Shinedown - Simple man, 45, Heroes). He also rocks live no matter how much audience.

@TheFacilidade well to me, labrie's voice is very intrusive and has bad tone, and the cheesy lyrics don't help. Range doesn't mean anything to me if I don't like the tone.

ledzeprocks21 i respect yours too but May's voice will never be so LOUD and so Growl like James voice's! Try The high notes of James Labrie on U tube or listen some songs from Dream Theater's albuns like AWAKE,Images and Words or BC &SL! So u'll dig what i'm talking about!
