"Originating as a protest scene, this music plays with characters of youthful fire, cheerfulness, the sweep of wind and storm, singing poetically, dreamily, furiously and again unfettered.
In contrast to daily life, this "Protest" is given a sublime musical form.
Only those who have carefully studied the production of such differentiated forms of sound on the a piccolo trumpet can suspect the fantastic magic achieved by the dancing upper lip."
