Kere Buchanan-More than you know

Originally from New Zealand and from a musical family, Kere began learning piano at age 3, and then started on drums at age 10. Playing at sessions and gigs with his father Stu Buchanan, until he was 14 years old. Then started to work with various other artists around New Zealand.

Moved to Australia in 1988, and has continued to work as a freelance drummer. His musical talents extend to Arranging, Producing and Composing.

Kere has performed and/or recorded with an impressive array of talented artists, including: Marcia Hines, Margaret Urlich, Wendy Matthews, Rick Price, Tina Arena and Kasey Chambers.

Main focus at the moment is finishing an album with co-writer Glenn Bidmead as a band called Kerosene, for release later this year. Also a band called 'The Bodacious Cowboys' who play Steely Dan tunes, and have a regular spot at the Basement in Sydney, as well as various festivals.
