THOUGH THE EVENTS OF 1915 ARE RECOGNIZED BY MOST COUNTRIES, BOTH THE US AND THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE 1915 ATROCITIES AS GENOCIDE; THUS CONTINUING THE LAST STAGE OF THE CRIME THROUGH DENIAL.
THIS WEEK RADIO INTIFADA WILL EXPLORE THE PLAUSIBLE SOLUTION FOR RECOGNITION AND THE BENEFITS OF SUCH ACTION BOTH FOR THE U.S AND THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY.

Taner Akcam (Turkish professor and genocide study scholar) has been appointed Chair at Clark Universitys Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies!

Akcam has filed a lawsuit in the European Court to completely rescind Article 301 of the Turkish Criminal Code, which imposes harsh penalties on those whose views are seen as insulting Turkishness, for example, mentioning the Armenian Genocide
