It's A Shame was cowritten and produced by Stevie Wonder, core members Bobbie Smith, Billy Henderson, etc. Phillippe Wynne proved them all wrong when he slipped in the Spinners soul pocket. Do yourselves a favour: buy the Spinners The Definitive Soul Collection, double-disc C.D put out by Atlantic/Rhino: 30 SOUL-Hugging classics. Purify yourself. It would be a shame not to.

Bobby Smith is an original Lead singer of the spinners. Henry Fambrough has been there from the beginning as well. They have kept the unit alive for many years. The current group still rocks. Marvin Taylor, Charlton Washington, and Jessie Peck are just as much spinners as those who came before them. Spike DeLeon is singing here, Marvin replaced him not to long ago in the group.

Yes, I just saw them and had a backstage pass . Henry Fambrough and Bobby Smith. Henry is at the far left and Bobby is on the right standing next to the lead singer in this video.
