plenty of engines will go in with not to much difficulty easeyest being a 950/1.1 if thats what came out of it, a 1.3/1.6 from a mk1 will go in with the right bits, you can stick a CVH (out the mk2 in) and if that fits the RSturbo lump fits ;) as do 1.8 zetec's 2.0's are a little harder
personally im putting bike carbs on the 1.1 and when i get bored of that ive got a 1.6 come say hello on oldskoolford dot co dot uk
