To the persons on this video that questioned why the firefighter was not spraying under the truck right away...
The fuel tanks on the truck are 100 gallons each. If the tanks were not cooled, you'd have diesel fuel that burns like hell when heated to flash point. The firefighter was cooling the tanks and then going after the fire underneath.

Not on fire. He just had the orange neons on. and the smoke was from the sick burnouts

@ExpertCriticism it could have been by chemicals mixing in the hopper too. we have had several trucks catch on fire because of that
-
@SergeantPope new slogan. "damn were hot!"

They just couldn't wait till it got to the trash burning power plant.

Looks like the fire started inside the hopper. They usually start from dumping a bin that contains smouldering ashes, cigarettes etc. The company I work for instructs us to compact the load tight if the fire is not too severe, then find an open space and dump the lot. Has happened to me 3 times. On one occasion I rolled up unannounced, and dumped a 3/4 load in a shopping centre car park. During this, a small crowd gathered and I bet they were thinking "WTF, he's gone crazy." Ahh, Good times
