If you haven't watched the movie, you're in for an interesting ride. It's a noir-ish detective movie set in the future, with vampires as a breed of human. Human Woodbine and vampire Paul are partners, investigating a homicide, now interrogating vampire Lucy Westenra, played by Bai Ling.

The commentary track was sprinkled with interesting and funny tidbits, including this one, about how the panther attacked Ling. The attack wasn't so funny, as the way Paul described it. He said Ling's feather outfit must have resembled a bird to the panther, ala "tweety pie."

Do I recommend this film? It's one of those movies that grows on me. Until I heard the commentary, on the reasoning behind certain scenes, it wasn't clear to me what the director intended. It's okay as far as buddy cop movies, but it's definitely not a movie about vampires in the traditional sense.

Adrian has such a strange accent,but a great humor,thumbs up

I'm used to hearing his "Duncan" accent, which is somewhere between British and American. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Adrian's real accent is a typical Londoner accent.

Ling Bai is so incredibly beautiful as a vampire! In the movie vampires can eat food somewhat, go out in the sun, and 25% of people are immune to the bite and can't become vampires. The black detective and her fall in love. Unfortunately when her gets infected and finds out he can't become a vampire and be with her forever, they get emotional. However he promises to be with her all his days and they live happily ever after.I would want to spend eternity with her :) Great movie to watch everyone.
