SC400 Rev

WAY better than a mustang? I wouldnt go sayin all that now. Listen to mine. Great car btw, always loved the sc400's. Too bad lexus and toyota didnt make more cars under the rwd v8 class.

I agree. I love the SC's and it sounds really good but its not way better than the mustang. the mustang exhaust sounds more wicked especially when you add the right exhaust and headers

One example (even tho its not forced induction) 305 HP 350Z..........268ft lbs of torque. 2002 mustang gt with catback and intake est. 270HP..........310ft lbs of torque. Guess who won the 1/4 mile? sure wasnt the nissan.

oh come on man, we are talking about the 2JZ - GE, the platform of one of the greatest engines of all time. Yes you're right, stock the 4.0 V8 was a touch faster. But tuning capabilities don't even compare.

sure it was 305hp? 350Z are rated at 280hp as far as I know.

tuning capabilities of the 1UZ isn't as far as the 2JZ because the 2JZ got popularity from the Supra.
then for need to remember that the 1UZ is an all aluminum motor with DOHC and quad valves, "same configuration" as a 2JZ would be. 1UZ's arent offered in turbo's... but what if you turbo'd a 1UZ.... then you got something crazy. other wise, both motors are beastly AND overengineered from factory >:D
