Donny is so cute when he sings this song! :)

I have this entire show, it's a scream! And the first season of the Krofft Supershow was always my fave. The Glam Rock look RULED for KK and The Kongs! Long live the 70s!

Does anybody have There American Bandstand Appearence?

Yeah, and plus I've seen them without makeup in teen mags at the time so they were very easy to spot!! Wonder how hard it was to wear all that glitter?? I've only worn it on my face and nails myself!! [Either glitter eyeliner or nail polish]

Yep, turkey was the lawn mower guy and Bert {ah...my favorite one of all} was the peddler guy...I can spot Bert anywhere!! He was soo adorably HOT!!!
-
Yes...I couldn't have said this any better!! To me he should have goten the respect more so than any of the Kongs or as a solo artist!! Kudos, 2 snaps and a twist for you Jaybird1103 for nailing that remark dead center!!! Whooo Hooooo!!!

We get to see Bert Sommer (AKA Flatbush) sing the lead on this song with Kaptain Kool and the Kongs (Michael Lembeck-Kaptain Kool, Debra Clinger-Superchick, Micky McMeel-Turkey, and Louise Duart-Nashville). He was only on the first season of the Krofft Supershow, his absence from the second season was never explained. To me, Bert never got the respect either as a member of KK and the Kongs or as a solo artist. Bert Sommer, Rest In Peace. You left us all too soon.
