Legendary Budapest Quartet play 2nd mvt of Mozart's C Minor quintet, re-worked from a wind serenade. Transcribed from the 1950s original LP which is available from my site http://www.classical33.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=455t - the CD transcription included the early quintet K174, as does the MP3.
Thank you from the shivers up and down my spine. This, as in so many of the Budapest Quartet recordings, is a standard by which all interpretations of this work must be measured.

I grew up with these guys, loved their blend, and subconsciously or otherwise tried to imitate Roisman's sound.

Thank you - I am glad that some listeners recognise the sheer beauty of the Budapest Quartet on Philips.
