Note that the title says "When The Warnings Sound", rather than "If The Warning Sounds", as if it was inevitable.

Threads scares the living shit out of me when I first saw it. Frankly, I'm surprised we haven't succumbed to it between then and now.

threads was the most realistic nuclear war movie because it demonstrates the events before...during and after the war and its effect on society. Its a very scary movie, much more frightening than the most scary horror films.
