  • Hi, I am trying to learn how to use Solidworks Motion and have created a similar simulation where a single ball rolls down a slide, off the end and lands on another slide. I have setup gravity and 3d contacts between both slides and the ball. The ball rolls down and off the first slide but when it hits the next slide a simulation error occurs. Have you setup a "contact" between every single ball and each surface that the ball can roll on? If I don't setup 3d contacts the ball just falls through.

  • @Vasy23 there is gap in wich the balls can roll in the containers

  • Very cool, can you post the model files please?

  • Hi,

You should setup 3 things: gravity (make sure which direction you selected), global contact and material for each components.

Global contact is most important - and that is an answer your question.
