This is a version of Ubuntu that is designed specifically for netbooks. I decided to download the ISO and run it on VMWare Fusion to see how it looked and handled. I love it. In fact I love it even more than Ubuntu. If I can get past all the nitty-gritty of backing up & unloading Windows, I may put this on my VAIO UX280P Micro PC. That's why you see the big text & big arrow. I can zoom in to use the OS just fine, but I don't know how well the zoom will work with Orca on the UX so I'm doing the "just in case" scenario.

  • Is Ubuntu more suspectible to crashing than Linux Fedora?

  • @blunklaura I haven't tried Fedora extensively, but I can say that in my experience with Ubuntu, it hasn't frozen once.

  • Odio que hagan eso con los videos, que hagan zoom al cursor, por que no se donde madre estan, no tengo una visibilidad clara, deberian hacer un zoom un poco mas retirado para ubicarme en que zona de la pantalla, estan trabajando

  • Tu Habla Ingles?

  • you know you can get Screen Flow for free , or crack it , so you can get it free , it's not hard just look it up on youtube so you can get ride of that SCREENFLOW DEMO on the screen

  • Unless either of the following happens, that logo won't go away: (1) Point me to something in the open source that is available & works well with OS X. (2) I purchase the full copy. I will NOT crack it. Does Istanbul work on OS X?

  • While this was an informative video, and gave me a look at Easy Peasy, the presentation is slow and at times frustrating. Try rehearsing before you record... But, in sincerity, thank you for posting this video!

  • who else has it on Eee Pc 1215P?

  • @rml695 Mine has, but I think that's mostly KDE and Compiz shit. (KWin compositing froze up on me and Compiz freaked out when I set Mouse Position Polling to 1 while magnifying, causing me to restart X, log in into another sudo-capable account and edit an XML file from there and log back in. Imagine what would happen if I didn't have that account!)

  • Not bad, but I didn't notice that it's for netbooks. I was looking for a solution for my laptop. Heck, I can run Vista Home Premium pretty fast, but I was searching for a light solution. Either way, I love the way looks thus far.

  • @mortrixnew No te preocupes, solo es un tutorial. Y hay muchos mas para veer.

  • @NICKELGHANDI I don't know about the Aspire one, but I have an Asus eee 701, (which has very limited resources) and I liked easy peasy better. Still run Ubuntu on my laptop, of course.

  • Just installed Easy Peasy on my Asus eee. Light years better than the Xandros piece of crap that came with it.
