@Mojo4dago You actually don't need a steady hand. Do this instead:
1. Click once.
2. Hold down Shift. Move the cursor until the preview line is what you want. Click again. This causes a line to be drawn between the first place you clicked and the second place you clicked.
If you want lines at a certain angle (exactly flat, for instance) do this:
1. Click once.
2. Hold down Shift and Control. Move the cursor until the preview line is what you want. Click again.
