This is the first flights of our new Red Square Models Yak-12 EP aircraft. The hard bank at takeoff was from wildly out-of-whack trims that I forgot to check before takeoff. Once we got her trimmed out, she flew lovely. Get the plane from Pilotage-RC at www.pilotage-rc.com

  • I can this little spec at about 300 feet.. Next time show the plane and it's interior..Music great !!

  • @Tinman313 Sorry about the long distance. Our crappy little camera can't focus on the plane when it's zoomed in most of the time. We usually keep the plane in closer but this was the bird's first flight and it was definately out of trim and he needed to fly it out there to stabilize it.

Cool.... No problem . Would like too see another clip of the interior / exterior. Lay out of components. Motor ~ Battery ~ Rx ~ Servo... control surfaces and what you over all imression of the plane... I see the shipping cost is $30.00...

We actually posted a review of this bird at WattFlyer that you could take a look at. We tried a new tail-wheel setup (full-castering wheel) that didn't work and prevented ROG takeoffs. As a result, we had to hand launch it and land in a field of tall grass. On the last landing, the gear snapped out and the motor shaft broke, and we haven't fixed it up yet.

See the review in wattflyer's articles section under "R"

  • Castor on front wheel... if the wheel was set behind the center of the main strut no problem.. but in line with strut or ahead of strut it will snap every time.. making a scissor action and having a spring or rubber band forward of strut and wheel behind works..

Good tunes.. sounds like the Good Bad Ugly... !!
