dude i tried this once and it still read my games but my disc drive wont read new games i just bought. i just got ac brotherhood and it wouldnt work so i cleaned it being careful not to touch it and it still wouldnt read my new game. help

This was a very helpful video, however i did not have the necessary tools to dismantle the xbox360 completely so i found that it is not necessary to. Simply open your xbox while it is plugged in, and without turning it off unplug it so that it stays open. Use a very bright light, such as spot light, and close the tray just enough to be able to see the laser. Get a dry "fuzz stick" (XD haha awesome) and/or one dipped in alcohol if you really want a clean laser. Then just carefuly clean the laser.

Wow, I must have sounded like a retard there. I really fucked up that last sentance. What I mean to say is you have to add a small amount of rubbing alchohol on the cotton swab then gentally dab the lazer with causion of not touching it. "IF" you do then in no doubt you will have to replace it and put in a new one which is a real pain in the ass!

I mean, if it would make you happy, I'll make a seamless video of myself cleaning the laser, and playing a game right after.
But seriously look at every single other fucking video about cleaning any laser. They do the exact same thing.
