  • What a great, great man. I will miss him hugely.

'Life is a tragedy. We get washed up on some random shore and spend our lives building shelters and waving at ships. Then the tide turns. The waves crash inwards and sweep the lot away. We are left with a desert. We end up weeping alone in an empty church.

    Remember me, whispers the dust.'

From Sebastian's memoir, Dandy in the Underworld:

  • The British class system was, and to an extent still is, a little more complicated than simply how much money you have.

One is equally as likely to find an aristocrat with only debtors to his name as one is to find a millionaire without a shred of sophistication to theirs.

Sebastian's family background I think is most accurately classed as Nouveau Riche via the Middle Class.

Sebastian however is in a class of his own. :)

    (This heathen loves his godlessness)

  • he is way too much! arrogance and wit, I love it!

  • Sebastian was classic and a way of life,be u, if ure a bicht be more!

  • A druggie.

  • I'm reading his book and enjoying it thoroughly. However, as much as I hate most Americans that I've met, it always pisses me off when these english prissies with their florid little accents start whining on about the U.S. blah, blah, blah, and pigeonhole all Americans as if they are of one identical Mind.

Not everybody here is stupid by a long shot.

And don't tell me there aren't any dead idiot masses in england.

  • Americans Hate Truth an H

onesty... He says what he is and America is all about LIARS!!!

  • He very much seems to be Bored with Life.

  • "I am the only thing of value in your country, and I am removing it immediately."

  • how many times do i have to say goodbye to seb? he's dead as dead can be, yet i'm forced to constantly excrete pretentious "REST IN PEACE" dialogues to someone i will never meet due to the vicious vampire of mortality.

byebye sebastian, you've inspired me to invest in a more flashy top hat at the very least

  • Nil desporandum sweet Henry; Sebastian will be sorely missed by us all,but there may be a 'sun dog ' of hope in this turgid gutter. I was only aware of Mr H's existence on the occasion of his passing which may surprise you untill i reveal my vieled identity,I sir,am Sebastians long lost whore son cousin and was unaware of my 'cousin familliar' due to my own pursuit of life;however my practices have been confined to the hellish northen provincesand Antibes.I am Andrew Harold Adrian Horsley!Port?

  • Ahahaha, he's fucking brilliant. I must thank my friend again for 'introducing' me to him, I'm sure my dad would love him too.

  • I knew the man- in private he was very different. No affectations, natural, an excellent conversationalist, and great fun to hang out with. But his public persona was all about selling himself and he did it well enough to get himself noticed. It's really sad that Sebastian has gone so prematurely- an old-school, upper-class gent with genuine style and wit.
