@lchiddle read it and find out! its not a book that discredits religion, becase religion dose that all by it self, rather this book explains all the historical facts. it dose it in a way that dose not offend any1, its aim was to give us a better understanding & explaination of all religions, partly to help us tolorate others!
-
...and I should believe this book, why? What is the source of this claim?

@lchiddle read What People Believe!!! a great book that explains every major religion, where it came from, time lines and how it developed into our day.
-
Really? Where's that in the Bible?
-
@lchiddle Abraham used to worship rocks and streams before! he changed his mind a few times, going from multiple Gods to 1 God...

@ewatchmandotcom how do you know that the name is even being pronounced properly? When I asked the JW's they said well we think thats how it was pronounced!!!

Suppose you followed the teachings in those watchtowers, how could you reach the conclusion that the society could be infected by idolatry? Dont you think this is absolutism, and authoritarianism, at the finest?
Did you know that the founder of the Jehovahs witnesses Charles Taze Russell was a 33rd degree Mason? And the 1st Kingdom hall had an Egyptian Pagan symbol above the front door? later removed! The new world transations is another way of saying New World Order! His tomb stone is a Pyramid! All religion was created to controll man! The world is partly held back in the bronze ages by people who still believe in Magic!

Correction: the Jews were already in a covenant with God. This covenant had been made with Abraham, and continued through the line of Issac, then Jacob. It was the 10 commandments that had not been given.

@lchiddle not true. The Abrahamic covenant did not necessarily include all of Abraham's fleshly descendants. As I stated, Jehovah wanted to wipe the Israelite tribes out and raise up a seed from Moses, who was also of the linage of Abraham. The Israelites were not brought into a binding covenant until Moses read the Law to them and they agreed and were sprinkled with the blood of the covenant.
