  • Strasburg has it, he has control, speed, and perfect aim. The other guy just has speed.

  • @TheTriplePlayTV I'm guessing everyone was expecting some sort of video. Or a highlight reel from a game where the two actually faced off. Although I don't think there are any since Strasburg was out for most of 2011 and Chapman's not a starting pitcher.

  • Strasburg he can throw almost as hard as chapmen 103 tops but strasburg can control even when he hits triple digits plus chapmen is 100% fastball unlike strasburg with his changeup sinker and slurve

  • @hwd567 Source? :D

  • nothing happened....

  • @214Parker no strasburg does

  • Strasburg is hurt, who knows how he will preform when he gets back, and chapman throws a hard ball, but everytime he hits triple digits, he hardly has any control, but when he keeps it double digits, he can actually be a pretty dominate pitcher sometimes..

  • Strasburg wins because he is a starter who has what it takes to become a starter. Chapman, on the other hand has 105 MPH fastball but no control and is a reliever who might 2-3 years to take make that transition to a starter. So, overall Strasburg is the franchise along with Bryce Harper.

  • How can you even compare Strasburg and Chapman? Chapman is good and will get better. However, Strasburg is a MUCH more dominant pitcher. Chapman throws hard and that's it, not that that's bad. Strasburg throws hard, has a wide assortment of pitches, and has great command. He has great control! Once Chapman gets another "out" pitch and gains command, he will be great. Until then, he is just "good." And just remember, a starter is MUCH different than a set-up guy.
