Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric, discusses innovation at Symposium 2006 at the School of Management. Welch says that although people often think innovation is limited to practical scientific advances, it's much more than that. It's about expansion. When you see something someone else has done, Welch says, you have to take it and bring it to new levels. To innovate something is as important as inventing it.

Hosted by School of Management on February 4, 2006.
