'Independent advice: a lifeline for older people'.
Age Concern believes the best people to explain the importance of information and advice are those older people who have used the services to improve their lives.
Lary, Terry, Brenda and Trevor, the stars of our documentary, donated their time to talk about their experiences and have many photos taken because they believed that it was important for more older people to have access to the sort of information and advice they received.
The purpose of the documentary is to show how timely information and advice can resolve financial problems and improve the quality of life of individuals. When this is multiplied by the thousands of older people who access Age Concerns' information and advice services, some idea can be gained of the contribution these services make to tackling poverty, increasing social inclusion, and enabling independence.

Show it to groups of older people to encourage them to contact information and advice services.
Support the campaign calls.
Donate to your local Age Concern.
