Traditionally, a cooking club meets to build a meal collaboratively around a theme with each member preparing a different plate on the menu. A theme might be a country, an ingredient, or a season. Tonight we're celebrating autumn with local products prepared using traditional autumn recipes from around the world. Five recipes have been selected for preparation. Ingredients were purchased, and the dishes were assigned to club members. When starting your own cooking club, you can have participants pitch in for the cost of the ingredients, or make it the host's responsibility on a rotating basis. Any way you slice it, it's a great way to throw an affordable dinner party with food that's more complex and daring than you might tackle on your own. Let's see what everyone's cooking up tonight.
