The problem for non-native speakers is not the accent, actually the problem are terms like "wits", "behoove" and so on.

"it takes all four to end the war" <my favourite part!
-
@FranciscosFilmtime Utevich, his scalper, played by BJ Novak =)

Bien dice Aldo Raine "Long story short, We hear a story too good to be true, it ain't"
-

@TheSeaUnder I'm sorry for you, I lived there once... I'll never make this mistake again.

@SlipknotMaggotArmy3 im from maynardville too and your really wrong lol. Sharps chapel has way less people than maynardville. i have friiends that are black that live here and its not only whites. It has a lot of differentt people and you should realy check your spelling on stuff before everyone thinks were a bunch of pathetic rednecks. BTW everyone his accent in this movie is completely wrong.

i watched film in russian translation.
Surprisingly but russian voice acting for aldo raine is even better than the original brad pitt voice
am still pissed that brad didn't get a nod for basterds at the golden globes.

"I've done my share of bootleggin. Up here, if you engage in what the federal government calls illegal activity but what we call just a man trying to make a living for his family selling moonshine liquor, it behooves oneself to keep his wits. Long story short: we hear a story too good to be true, it ain't."
