Iran may want to be close to weapon capacity

Secrecy that Iran has about its enrichment process has raised suspicions that it may want to be close to creating nuclear weapons, believes Hans Blix, former UN weapons inspector.

Russia invade Manchuria between the 2 bombs, yes. However, if you look at the Potsdam Declaration, USSR was not part of it. So of course Japan was trying to negotiate with USSR so they can keep some of their stuff. You can argue that the US put strong word in the Potsdam Declaration so they can drop the atom bomb on Japan. At the time of the bombing, US has not defeated the major army of Japan yet. To invade Japan would be much more costly.

Russia felt that due to their millions of casualties they were intiteled to compensation. Why would they feel diffrent in japan? They lost around 26000 troops the week they fought in japan. (japan lost 80000.) I do honestly think russia would have kept portions in japan had they helped with the major

@mengwise36 Im sorry but your missing a part of history. Russia invaded japan a day or 2 before the nuke was dropped. Japan was trying to negotiate with russia until the last minute please look it up if you think I am making it up. They wanted to keep more then the militry. I didnt say they did it for japan. and 3 the us did it for the us. We did everything in our power to keep russia from expanding. At the time they hated russia. Did everything to prevent their expansion

1. Russia was in the war in 1941. The nukes went off in 1945. "The day before"?

2. Japan offered to surrender as long as it can keep its military. And it had enough military to make a land invasion very difficult for US. US did not want to fight them face to face so it dropped two bombs on them. What has Hitler's ambition got to do with it?

3. Do you really want us to believe US bombed Japan to save them?
