the royal marines are the uk's 'go anywhere' fighting force.

I have my PRMC this September, doing the RM Reserves while at Uni...cant wait to get stuck in and earn my green lid...even if I will be a "rubber dagger" ;-)

It must be a very very proud moment when you get your green beret, theres no way i could do it, it takes a special type of person to be a royal marines commando.

@crouchtrac well if you think Royal Marines are hard, then you should know that in order to join the SAS, you need a couple of years experience with either the Royal Marines or the Paras. Even most Royal Marines and Paras can't even make the grade to join the SAS, so that gives you a bit of an insider of what it takes to join the SAS!

and i thought mixed martial artists and boxers were hard due to thier training... well i got to say, these are the hardest bastards known to man, professional athletes train to succeed, royal marines train to stay alive i suppose thats the difference
