Sandy has walked with me through my life for so many years I cant remember, she never left me even now at sixty years old I listen to this haunting melody. such deep feelings for this truly beatifull Lady. Thank you Sandy, we miss you.

Here is a link to an article about Sandy's life and death. Don't forget though, that this is just one persons account focussing on the "rock and roll" of a life. The circumstances of her death are accurate as far as I can remember.

@ wobbly 585 No, Sandy did not commit suicide. She had an accident at home falling down some stairs. I'm sure you could find more details online, perhaps the BBC?

As John said "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans. I've been lisyening to Nick Drake a lot too recently. I feel the spirit that gave birth to these beautiful songs still resides within the melodies and can touch our hearts still if we listen with due attention and open heart.
