This film The Ballad of Crowfoot was written, directed and performed by the great Willie Dunn and produced by Barrie Howells in 1968. We came to learn of Willie through another songwriting giant, our friend Bob Robb, who has worked with Willie on many occasions. Weve had the great honor of playing with, and always learning from, Bosn Bob. The plight of our native peoples continues. There are still wrongs being committed, wrongs that still need to be righted. But as long as there are such great poets and songwriters as Bob Robb and Willie Dunn, a better world is truly possible.

Thanks for someone finally posting this. I've been trying to find it for years! I've told my children and friends about it and remember it when I was a kid. It's so beautifully moving and haunting. God bless Willie Dunn for this great work.
