Thanks for the quick response. You guys are on it!! I'm happy to hear that this was a sample pair. I was wondering how this design made it past testing. As I live in Vancouver, ie the wet coast, waterproofing is important to me.
I'd like to let you know the jacket I picked up at the sale is awesome. I appreciated the removable skirt when hiking with a pack. It's those small details that make the difference.

Just took my pair out in the rain. The front thigh pocket leaked like a sieve. Anyone else have this problem? Looks like all of the pant is made from waterproof material except for the inner part of the front pocket. Got them at a friends and family sale so no return allowed. :S Hoping I'll be able to make them work with some seam sealer.

By the sound of the issue you are describing, you have got your hands on a pair of sales samples from the first generation of the odin mountain pants. The problem you describe has been identified and addressed before production of the ones that you will find in-store.
Still, this is not the experience we want you to have with a pair of HH pants.
