Being a DJ is about being a crowd pleaser. Anyone can play their own tracks in the security of their own home and say they're a better DJ than Diplo but you would just be classified as delusional. To say that Diplo only plays mainstream and has no skills is idiotic. Let's not forget he produced Pon de Floor with Switch. He has a vast knowledge of music and is by no means cocky. A really funny guy if anything.

@sonofdasea I was reffering to your comment on another video. Anyways, he's just playing way to popular sound and i'm a Dj that likes to stay on vinyl digging. That's what i was talking about. DJ culture and techniques. That's what I am missing here. Something real.

@triplenippel123 idk if ur talking about me or diplo, but as far as the latter goes, he doesn't at all. he doesn't even think he's that good and def isn't cocky, i don't think. And i never said I'm great, i just said thats fucking hard and he def has talent and skills. just because he's playing mainstream tracks doesn't mean he's lame, that's what people like a lot of the time.
