You're great! You actually got an interview with the master. Loved it. Merci beaucoup. But isn't it kind of sad, the master's favorite part has not been made yet? It's one my biggest wishes for my life to see the story of Shenmue finished in a game. I'd even choose it over seeing my country win the World Cup.
When Shenmue 2 came out, I was 16. Until today I have not forgotten about Shenmue and I never will.

@iKennyVideo Shenmue is NOT an RPG

I want.... need Shenmue 3!

Wow the music brought me right back to my childhood.

Great interview asked a lot of questions that didn't even come to my mind, I recently got a VGA box hooked up to my 25" monitor so I've been replaying Shenmue and discovering what I fell in love again 10 years ago.

@erehllort I also heard it was sega that refused to make the game? Is there any truth to that allegation? Do you have a source/link of some sort that I can view? If it's true then I'm very disappointed in sega. If Shenmue just had more publicity than the previous 2 attempts, I KNOW they would redefine the entire genre of RPG/adventure? I'm not sure what to even call it. It's so unique, it's just amazing.
If they game only had a CHANCE. It would be so incredible.

Yu Suzuki best make Shenmue 3 as his next company project (1st being Shenmue Gai) or else ima swim over to Japan and give him some super sonic wedgy you gettt me. :/

Gotta admit, it's pretty ballsy of Kenji Seang to do a face-to-face interview. Great work! But I have to agree: there are so many unanswered questions...
For example, what console will it be released on?
How long until they pick up the project again? (the eternal question =_=)
Whatever happened to Nozomi? (can't help caring; Ryo WAS her first love afterall)
And...well, this is embarassing, but did Ren and Joy have a "thing" XD? And what's her relationship with Guizhang?

Bah, I meant Shenmue III
Shenmue is the most underrated RPG and could be one of the greatest games in history. I still play it today, almost 12 years after its release. So much passion in it and you really feel like you're part of the story once you really get into it. It starts to sink into you and you disappear into a whole new world. You don't want to set your controller down and you always want to know whats next, even if you've beaten it multiple times.
