  • This theme has given me chills since I saw the movie on its first release, in Manhattan. Thanks for posting; I've listened to your other movie cue uploads, and you have superb taste!

  • @chrophe Actually, if I recall correctly, it was the _closing_ theme... and only in the "later" years.. The radio show 'Smoke Rings' started in the early 60's. I remember this song from my youth in the mid 80's.

  • Wonderful song It used to be the opening theme for a famous radio show in Sweden playing jazz music from such greats as Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count basie and Glenn Miller hosted by a man by the name of Leif Anderson, and broadcasted on swedish national radio but now like so much of the good stuff-lost in time. The man had a very withered and hoarse voice that was accentuated by a very very low tone.He always started every shiw saying the line "hello there music lovers... good evening"

  • yeah hats off to boswell69..impeccable taste..always enjoy your upload..this song is so smooth..cruising.

  • Great theme! It should have been nominated for an Oscar and received more praise. Class, style, melancholy,...

  • it's makes me to cry

  • this song is very moving.
